We were just informed that the Corvette Corral is going to be in turn 3 again this year not turn 5!

Frankly I was looking forward to having a good parking spot this year and not being too far from the pits and stuff.

I'm not taking shots at the turn 3 corral, Kettle Morain does a very nice job and it's a nice area for us to park our cars...I just wish it was closer to the action...that's all.

So if you are going this weekend...park in the normal spot!

I have to agree with your comments. Oh well, just have to do some walking (or get lucky with that tram that I never see operating). See you there

There were going to be two Corrals this year, the usual one (turn 3) and the special (turn 5) Corral. To get into the turn 5 corral you would either need a SuperTicket, Season Ticket, or buy the special package that was on RA's website. I would have liked to see two Corrals but I think it's only right that Chevy supports the turn 3 Corral whenever it can since it's the only Corvette Corral that has been a fixture at a major race track since the 60's.

So what is it? Is it strictly the turn 3 corral now?
I guess I can ask at the gate when I get there...

Yeah the only Corvette Corral is at turn 3, both free parking and the "special" parking will be at the turn 3 Corvette Corral. If you have the red Corvette Corral parking pass you can park in a special section of the turn 3 Corvette Corral. I'm assuming that is closer to what ever hospitality tent Chevy brought along. It's all very confusing I'll just have to wait and see. But if you head over to turn 3 you should find out what all the hoopla is about.
