I live about 40 minutes north of Columbus and have used Backstreet Performance in Medina for my work. I dyno'd my old C4 there and have had them do headers/tune on my Z06.

Very nice folks.

Thanks LT-4 CE! I will give them a call. Medina is a nice little drive anyway.

Rich is the dad and Erik is the son. I spoke with Rich mostly, but I think Erik does the dyno/tune work. I was impressed with them. The seem meticulous in their work and have done a number of vettes and other late model cars.

They will probably remember my car as they just did the work in April (black 2002 Z06, the installed my LG headers.).

GOod luck.

Thanks guys for the recommendations. I just spoke with Rich- very nice guy. Looks like I'll be getting the car dyno'd and adding a few mods.

If you're looking for the Columbus area - i've never been there but I know a few guys who drag race - they take their cars to Auto Assets in Powell.

How true... I eventually want to put in a supercharger w/ Corsa cross over exhaust (about $10K but you know how that goes...). What I can afford right now is the LG headers and exhaust package at $5K- though I hate to put that in and then tear it out again to supercharge later. So I'm considering just putting in electric exhaust cutouts for the time being.

In other words, I am being a typical female and I'm not sure what I really want. LOL!!!!!

Try E-Mailing Bill Wright. He is the VP of the Central Ohio F-Body Club. He tuned my son's 99 SS Camaro with the LS1 edit program after cam headers, intake and many more.
He lives just outside Gahanna

He also dyno'ed it in Hilliard on his friends dyno. Really did a great job They are really into the GM High Performance Mods. He may be able to help with your C-6. Good Luck

I have a good friend who works there, actually for PAP . . . I know they have a dyno, but didn't realize they had tuning capabilities. Hmmm, may need to check this out.

I know they do some very high-end tuner Porche stuff.

I don't think you'd have to remove the headers to do a supercharger. For a turbo, yes, but not a sc.

Are you thinking of Dytnotune Motorsports? I live in central Ohio and I would recommend Dynotune Motor Sports. Brian is the owner and he is a good guy to work with. I have never Dyno'd any of my cars but he has dyno'd alot of nice non-riced GM and Ford cars.

Yes, He was great to work with. He didn't have the LS1 Edit progrmam, That's how we got to know him through Bill Wright. The two of them know their stuff on (as you say "non rice).

Check out this guy, he can get you in an exhaust sytem that is just as good for a lot less $$$.

Dale Clark @ www.tachitupmotorsports.com
he races them and builds them, so he knows what works

he is only 45 min. from columbus, @ I70 and SR 201.

Stay away from exhaust cutouts, cause to much undercar damage.
