Kevin has lots of fans here (including me). He's great. If you want to skip the dealership, call him at HP Perfomance in Mundulein. They are a supporting tuner on the Forum and they (he and Craig) are terrific.

Default No better than HP

They are all right. I just got headers installed from HP Performance Corvettes on my 06 c6. It sounds great and the extra power is unreal. I will ONLY deal with HP from now on. They are simply the best around. good luck!

I'll probably post this under it's own title, too, so they get their props.

Just got my car back from it's visit to Kevin & Libertyville Chevy. In addition to an oil change, as before I had them chasing a really annoying rattle. Last time was the tranny mounting, this time it was the HVAC mode valve linkage in the dash (behind the center stack somewhere).

Both times, the drop off, communication, and pick-up were excellent - as good or better than what I got used to from BMW. Both times, the repair was done fast, done well, and the car was returned in excellent condition (clean inside and out).

I was very concerned about this last one - dash rattles are a b!tch. Even if you get the rattle fixed, taking the dash apart and putting it back together often introduces new problems. And the dash never seems to end up properly aligned.

So far, Kevin seems to have nailed this one. The old rattle is dead and no new ones have shown up, and there is no indication at all that the car underwent major dash surgery. And it goes without saying, or should, that the oil change was done to perfection.

You could give me free oil changes and other service elsewhere, and I'd still pay to take it to Kevin. When the mod process starts -- and it will -- there's no question that Kevin will get the work.
