Default ALMS/Generac 500 @ Road America - Corvette Corral - Aug 9-12

Any of the Chicago Crew planning on going up to Road America for the ALMS? I'd like to head up there on Saturday, August 10 and park in the Corvette Corral.

I went up on Saturday last year and met and got autographs from Ron Fellows, Johnny O'Connell, Dave Hill and the rest of the team. I got a free Corvette Racing shirt among other free stuff.

http://www.roadamerica.com/races_gen...__corvette.htm

Here's some pics from last year: http://fdemartino.smugmug.com/gallery/2352107#123127211

that is correct!

alms race is saturday and champ car is on sunday. i will be there both days.
i believe the two events were combined to help champ car (cart) try to regain some of its stature and popularity. also, this is one of the bigger events at road america so they are taking advantage of the spectatorship.

She REALLY wants one. Wants to do a Wonder Woman theme on it too to compete with BATMAN. If we can pull it off I will let her do it.

Cool! We'll have to figure out when we want to head up there in the morning. I'm thinking about 9 or 10, since the race starts late in the day. I'm going to stay at my parent's house in Lake Geneva that night.
