Hi All,

One of the 6speedonline guys (Luis) has put together a cars & coffee (car meet) together for April 5th.

There's quite a mix of cars on that forum - a lot of euro cars, but plenty of American hardware.

Vettes are welcome.

Minneapolis, MN Cars & Coffee Saturday 4/5/08

I am proud to announce a very exiting event for the Minnesota car community.

The Minneapolis Cars and Coffee event will begin on Saturday April 5th and will continue the first Saturday of every month at the Caribou Coffee/Einstein Brothers Bagels parking lot off of Shady Oak Rd and Hwy 62 in Minnetonka.

We'll meet from 9am to 11am.

There is a great sports/exotic car community here in the Twin Cities and it’s about time we followed suit and started our own Cars & Coffee event.

These events are held in many parts of the country and are a great way for car enthusiasts to hang out for a couple of hours.

Please forward this on to all of your sports/exotic car friends and encourage them to come on out.

We’ll have some photographers out there and we’ll post up some shots on the different forums.

After looking at his Scottsdale pics and all the expensive iron showing up at that show makes my C5 look pretty......normal. Not sure my car would fit in with that crowd. Great looking exotics though. May be fun just to check out some machines you dont see regularly.

Yeah, I don't think MN will deliver the exotic mix that the AZ version does.. Your C5 (and my Z) will fit right in. I don't think there are too many Lambo's in town (but I could be wrong).

My car is still on jacks awaiting new brake parts, a blower belt, and maybe some new wheels if I sell the current setup. But, maybe I'll go if for some reason the weather is better, and I have everything back together.

The blower belt is a special order, and isn't suppose to arrive until next week....so maybe.

Looks like fun regardless.

I totally had you and Jeremy mixed before I went today but I am on the straight and narrow now. Great to meet both of you. Had a good time today and look foreward to more events. Lots of great cars.

I followed some guys over the to Motorplex Minneapolis (in Chanhassen).

It's basically a clubhouse (soon to be completed) and oversized garages (some are 2K square feet +) where guys with a lot of toys (and money) hang out. www.automotorplex.com

The owner - Bruno - is trying to fund a track S. of Minneapolis (figure an hour).

A drive would have been cool - we'll have to get a smaller group together next time and do that.
