Default [MI] Cauley Chevrolet in West Bloomfield

I found an '08 Z06 that I like at Cauley Chevrolet. I'm wondering if anyone could tell me if they are good to deal with. Do they keep their Corvettes inside ? Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks !

I have never had any business with them but they seem to show up at a lot of corvette events in the Metro Detroit Area.

Check out Les Stanford in Dearborn, they have some 08 ZO6's. Chris Warren. They sponsor our club (CCM) and many members have bought from them.

Dont go to Jack Cauley Chevrolet Shiity body work , they obviously dont even look at the car before they call you to tell you to pick it up ( this happened to me went to pick up car and all the panels were completely crooked) Plus the service manager? his attitude was "cars are like fingerprints, they're all different" (his words) After being told my car was ready 3 times and each time I look at the car stuff still looked jacked they had somehow got their money from the insurance and they were "oh well just get your car out of here we need the room" F**K them
Jack Cauley does not own the dealership anymore according to the service dept

Everyone has a good or a bad expierence with any given dealership. I have had nothing but great dealings with Cauley. They do not keep their cars inside. Yes cars are like fingerprints they are all different. So are people and their attitudes towards everthing that happens in life. I am not condoning anybodies actions, but as I said, I have been done right by Cauley and their service team, but who knows maybe next time I won't. I have heard many people gripe about Stanford for the same reasons. It's just like a lottery ticket, sometimes you have a winner, sometimes you don't. Good luck. If they give you a good deal, buy it.

I ordered my car from Cauley in 2001 after being blown off by some jackass at Les stanford. But that's another story.

My post purchase experience at Cauley was top notch. I always deal with Mike Kuss in the service dept. Standup guy

If i'm in the market in the future for a chevy product, i'm going back to Cauley!

If you need a sales guy, ask for John Kruttlin. He was very professional and courteous, even AFTER the sale.

My dad dealt with Cauley when he bought his 2002 Camaro Brickyard Pace Car after being blown off by some dealer in rochester...

Great purchase experience and he would probably deal with them again.

I guess there will always be two opposing experiences. However, so far the bad experience was caused by the body shop not the new car sales. It is unlikely that I will go to them for a body repair service since I live 4+ hrs away from them.

It may not be much, but something mildly bothers me by the practice of keeping their Corvettes outside.

How many dealerships can actually say they keep their Corvettes inside at all times. I know it may mean a lot to you, but be realistic, it is a car and it won't melt. Think of all the debris that hits it when it is transported on an open car hauler. Buy it, detail it, and enjoy it!

I leased a '99 Vette from Stanford
I bought a '02,'03,04,'08 Corvette from Cauley
My husband leased two Silverado Trucks from Cauley '06,'08

Guess who treated us better?

Cauley owns a Ferrari/Maserati dealership next door to the Chevy dealer.
Not enough room to keep all the Vettes inside (Stanford keeps them outside too).
But Corvettes are not there that long!

Good Luck

I didn't say that a dealer keeping their Corvettes inside meant a lot to me. I can only hope. However, I do see that most Chevrolet dealers local to me keep their Corvettes inside.

Better buy local. I don't know of any around here that keeps them inside. Good luck.

and how MANY Corvettes do they have for sale at a given dealer in Ohio???

Cauley Chevrolet is now the name of the dealership.
Jeff Cauley is the President. He is also a SCCA Race Car Driver along with his son, Joe.

Default Cauley

3 corvettes, 1 Camaro SS, 2 Trailblazers all since 1996, I'd say they are "PRETTY GOOD"

John Krutlin= great sales guy
Mike Kuss= excellent service guy

Nothing but Aces for me, since you asked.

Highly recommend

George

We have 250 members in our club. Cauley supports us and our show and many members have bought their cars from him. I have never heard any complaints about him.
