W.M.C. News Flash on Metro cruise
I started a new thread so this doesn't get lost.
Here is the deal, we have a chance for our own prime parking spot right on 28th for the cruise We would be right in the center of everything going on at Centerpointe mall. Woodland mall doesn't have anything going this year its all at Rogers and Centerpointe. Now the down side is we would have to get there pretty early to get the spots. That means we would have to miss Red Robin but there are a lot of places to eat right there. Its totally up to you guys I am just throwing it out there. I know this is short notice and if you don't want change the plans that's ok. I am sure we will be able to find someplace if we leave it as is. Let me know what you think. If you want the spots I might be able to go tomorrow and put up some barrels and tape to reserve the spots:

Up front, at Centerpointe....
That sounds good to us as well.
There's lots of places with in walking distance too.
We should be able to come and go.
But whatever the group decides is good with us!

Safety Car
If I finish my car tomorrow night and it works right, I'll be in with this. I'll post up later whether I'll be to this or not.
One runner, plenum and throttle body to go. I'm in the final stretch.

I would be in for it. The only problem is Patty and I are voulenteering from 8-12 at Klingmans. So we can't be there earlier than 12:30-1:00. Also do you mind if another couple (with C3) join us?

The crew never minds when you bring new people. However, if they want to get in nice, bring Don the ice cream.

Sounds good to us. We cannot get there a lot earlier due to me having to work.
Can late comers still get to these parking spots or do they get blocked in?

Keep me posted - I'm easy (don't let that get out)
Steph is giving up her seat for my nephew this weekend - He is switching to a new middle school - and could use somthing to help "clam" the nerves - Cool cars should do the trick.
How early is Early?
Meet at the Mall at 1:00 instead of the RR?
I'm in Rain or shine.

Same here. I have some friends in the Super Chevy Show at Berger We have access to some VIP spots at another Dealership but were told no saving of spots the night before/day of etc. First come, first serve and if you leave you lose your spot.

Betty and I will first meet up with the WMC and then we do have to leave for a bit around 2pm to join a work vendor invitation gathering at Main Street Pub for a free pig roast and drinks but we expect to return within an hour or two.

Ok, I pulled some strings but they owe me anyway I worked my butt off the last 3 nights Jim and I are going to be at Centerpointe at about 9:00 am to rope off an area for the crew ( thanks Jim ) I plan on leaving my car there because I have a meeting to go to at 10 that goes to 11:30 right by the mall. So if you get there before I get back just move the barrels or whatever we have and make yourselves at home. We will have the area right on 28th in front of Toys R Us. I hope this didn't confuse anybody but this all came about late last night. There are a lot of places to eat with in walking distance. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow

I'll be there at noon with the Lincoln. The Vette has a massive vacuum leak, which I've narrowed down to the front lower gasket of the driver's side runner, so I'm going to fix that Sunday.
