salvage yards/pick a parts yard near Detroit?
Anybody know where I can find these locations that might have C5 parts? I want to find another fuel sending unit for my 2001, but don't want to spend the $400 plus to get one!
Thanks!
Thanks!

C5 parts may be hard to come by, but one of the best yards around is Parts Galore. They have two locations (one on 8 Mile). Google them for the exact location. They are open 7 days a week 8-8.
You can also ask Vette to Vette parts on here. He is a sponsor and I have received some good prices from him before.

Are you having an issue with a fuel level sending unit?
GM Makes a service kit (float with sweep electronics) for the fuel level sender since they have so many issues with them . Last time I got one they were $135 if my memory serves me.

Hi Phil, hi Ken, and yes, I am. I'm getting another sending unit from Vette2Vette for the same price, however. But I'm glad you guys chimed in!
