Hi Deb, I hope to have all of the details for the open house at the GM Build Center by the end of May. As it stands right now there will be an open house on Thursday August 16. I haven't been given times yet. They liked having an impromtu Corvette show and they hope that will happen again. No prizes just show what you have. The times at the Heritage Center will probably be 11 AM and 1 PM. So far at the Radisson Hotel there will be Kim's Gold Dust, C-Magic Wax, Galli Sports Apparel and a display by Matick Chevrolet. They are bring Callaways and will have a seminar. Also Jerry Burton author of the biography on Zora and Chevrolet 100 Years will have a seminar and book signing. Harlan Charles will be gring the desig team. I am looking forward to seeing you at the Bash. Larry

i see the posts for the Woodward Dream Cruise but real enthusiasts should also be aware of an almost equally exciting event in Flint called the Back to the Bricks Car Show and Cruise which takes place the same day August 18. Every day the week before is filled with supporting events. Much of the money raised from this is used to help support the Automotive Pioneers Statue Fund whcih commemorates the American automobile industry. The B2B event will draw 400,000 visitors and is a great event. If possible I would suggest the Corvette Heritage Tour and Cruise on Thursday 8-16, then cruising Woodward on Friday (especially Friday night), then going to the B2B event in Flint (you should get there early as this is a packed event) until about noon on Saturday and then back to Woodward for the late afternoon and evening Saturday. Also be aware that there are quite a few hold over cruisers still around on Sunday. No matter how you slice it spending the week in and around Detroit and Flint is packed full of fun for the car enthusiast.

can you please post where the designated Corvette area will be? What are the requirements for parking in this area and can you come and go during the day from this area? Thanks

Gingerman Raceway, South Haven. A great place to hang out, display your car, wander the displays, talk to others, and of course track your Corvette. Gingerman is such a sweet track that is fun and safe. There are plenty of local Corvette owners who are track savvy and willing to help the newbies.
