I talked to CDconklin and he is interested in going along with his wife. My dad would probably go with, as well as at least a hand full of my friends.

OK guys - Here's your chance:
My wife is a member of the Olds Club of America
One of the guys there has an organized tour for the Lingenfelter Collection in nearby Brighton, Michigan on Saturday July 31 at 10am
This tour was originally intended for the members of the R.E. Olds Chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America, but they are also welcoming any friends and car lovers who would wish to accompany us to see these beautiful machines.
The cost of the tour is $10 per person, which will be paid directly to the Lingenfelter Collection.
This is not a fund raiser for the R.E. Olds Chapter.
The Lingenfelter Collection has asked us to limit the size of our group to a maximum of 100 people. They have also asked that we provide them with a lump sum of money, rather than having to provide a “ticket taker” at the door. We will gather outside of the Lingenfelter Collection that Saturday at 10am and I will collect the money from everyone before we enter.
If you would like to join us for this tour, please let me know prior to Monday July 26 so I can give the Lingenfelter Collection an accurate count on the Monday prior to our visit. Basic directions are attached, but the Collection is at 7819 Lochlin in Brighton, just off Kensington Road south of I-96.
Many of us will be traveling to this tour in a caravan from the west. If you’re coming in from the general Lansing area, feel free to join us at the McDonalds, I-96 exit 122 in Webberville, Michigan where we depart at about 9:15am.
That's the info I have
If you want to come, you are more than Welcome
This is your chance - don't be the one that says ... Wish I could have gone .....
FYI
(now I gotta see if can get off work)

Ken Lingenfelter
As I remember, there was an article in Corvette Fever or Corvette Magazine fairly recently. Ken Lingenfelter was a very distant cousin. I don't remember where he made his money? Can you guess how many millions of dollars of cars are there? There is more money there than in the Corvette Museum. More cars also. The Ferrari's alone in there are worth many millions, leave alone the other exotics. Hell, I would be happy with the personal property taxes he pays on those cars. That would be in the millions.
All I can say is WO!, just WOW!!!
PS: Ken Lingenfelter now owns John's, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering in Decatur In.
