Good Alignments Shop in Chicago Northern Suburbs?
Hi guys.
Can someone recommend a good alignment shop in the Chicago far north suburbs?
I'm located near Gurnee.
I had the dealer, who's Vette mechanic is usually very good, do a 4-wheel alignment for me last fall.
After just 3,000 miles, I've lost 2/32 off of the outside edges of the rear tires.
Needless to say, I don't want to take it back there again.

I have had good results from a GoodYear place in Hanover park on Army Trail. But that is a ways to go for you. They are part of the Gemini shops of GoodYear.

Most of us use (and trust) Addison Wheel Alignment, sorry it's not exactly in your neighborhood.

i went to fall line performance, they have a great facility and knowledagble staff. i was very happy with my alignment and corner balance. theyre located off deerfeild and milwakee. jus a side note theyre more geared towards euro cars but are more than qualified to work on vettes
even closer to you would be black dog speed shop, theyre a corvette race team that opened a facility, nice bunch of guys and put out great cars
give both a call and see who you prefer

Obviously I'd like to go somewhere closer to me, but I'll probably check out Addison Alignment too.

I just had my Vette done at Addison on Friday. Jim is meticulous and does a great job.

Burning Brakes
Jim used to do all the cars at the body shop I worked at for about 15 years that I was there. Always did a great job. Glad to here he is still in business.
Not knowing Addison was still open I have a lot of recommendations to Mr. Jims in warrenville. He does local hot rods and racecars in west suburbs.
