With my daughter's 18th birthday and then her graduation and trying to get in some trout fishing, I haven't been there in awhile. Anyone going?

With all the events going on lately, I haven't been able to make it in awhile. Not sure I'll make it next week. Maybe the 20th? The 27th I am driving over to Indy for the Bloomington Gold show. If I find some time tomorrow though, I might just pedal thru some gears around town and enjoy a quick cruise to find some coffee.... or maybe ice cream?

Default Cars & Coffee Columbus June 6 2015

Yesterday was kind of weird - we had a lot of folks come and go - lots of turnover - overall I would say about 16 Vettes - 1/2 of which where new to cnc - I left at 11:15 and we still had folks pulling in the parking lot.
I think the overcast weather and cool temps kept some at home until they had faith they would not get rained upon.
The 5 Cobras where cool - one had Florida plates on it, one had some racing heritage.
Doc brought out his Slingshot, we had a new Ferrari their, a whole slew of BMW's and late model mopars, a couple of really nice vintage Triumph motorcycles, a pair of 69 Camaro's Lots of different rides to look at yesterday
Plenty of the regular crowd and lots of new folks.

Thanks for the pictures. Sounds like it was an overall successful CCnC morning. Sorry I couldn't make it, but it was our daughters first swim class, and I wasn't going to miss that

Congrats on the Daughter DA. Time flies doesn't it. We just found out we are going to be grand parents this past weekend..
Been super busy working on the 73 most free hours since the winter broke. don't care if i ever board sand another thing in my life!! Hoping to make its debut at the Maxton show on 6/19. Getting so close! Got the paint done, interior reassembled, most of the lights and chrome back on her. working on color sanding, buffing and polishing now. Took her out for the first cruise sunday. got lots of thumbs up. Hopefully can make it to a cars and coffee in the next few weeks

Wait, I thought you were going green? That blue looks great. I was originally looking for a blue 73 when I started my search.... interested in selling? Can't wait to see it in person.

DA, think I can borrow that banner again? I am heading over to Bloomington Gold the weekend of the 27th and it would be great to use for a group picture.

Thanks Dennis for letting me borrow the banner. Not as good a turn out as I was hoping for. I think the weather scared off a lot of people and not a lot of people knew about the Corvette Forum parking area. Maybe we can get something going again next year when you go with us right?

DA, we are headed to the Gahanna parade with the CCCC club. Wont make it tomorrow. Are you going to the Arthritis Show? Doing the Thunder Tour Thursday and the show Friday. Do you know if there any plans for our usual spots? seems kind of quiet this year.

It has been quiet this year. I will be at the show Friday and Saturday. I have not talked to Mark about our usual spot, but the trend has been to use that area for the featured cars. Happy 4th

Corvettes will be in the same lot as last year. The year we will have our friend from the mustangs sharing our lot. 100 corvettes so far and only 55 mustangs. Corvettes rock!!! Thanks for support this great show and charity event.

I finally got my bb out this past weekend (first drive with new paint) and unfortunately can't attend too many Saturday morning events due to my kids activities. I am with you guys in spirit though.

Is anyone planning on heading to the Vettes, Rods & Classics at Creekside show from Cars & Coffee?

Thought about it since I have the day off, but after being hassled by Gahanna LEO for NO Front plate on my birthday in June going home from work at 0645am doing 27mph, I am going to Pass. I have changed my route to avoid in town travel. It's unfortunate
