I'm not going to make it this weekend either. But I had a thought for next week, August 27th. We could start at the Cars and Coffee at the Lennox center, and then cruise down to McFerson Commons (Arch Park) for the "other" Cars and Coffee that is taking place from 10am - Noon.

Default C&c

Wont make it either. Baby sitting the granddaughter this weekend.
Gripp, that sounds like a great idea. Let's do it.
DA, I feel your pain. As I sit here today, there are 4 guys installing a new HVac system in the house. AC went out last Sunday. Time for a new system. 😡💲

I have my fun field ticket, but due to some major life changes going on right now, it has been decided that Carlisle is not in the cards this year. So I am staying here in town and doing the C&C at both locations next weekend. I am at least going to get a little car time in.

Thanks for the offer We are taking a DD as well. The vette is still far from roadworthy at this point.

This sounds like a great plan on the 27th. I will be there and may have recruited a drop top Pontiac as well. What time were you thinking of heading to Arch Park? Do you know where the parking will be; in the park or in a lot?

It sounds like they are just surrounding the park and parking is limited and in some cases reserved for the most expensive and exotic cars. They are encouraging people to park in the nearby parking garages, but we can try and roll in and see what the crowd looks like.

I was planning to get to the Lennox Center by around 9am, then head over to the park around 9:45am or so. They claim they go from 10am - Noon. If we get to park along the park or not, doesn't really bother me, I just want to walk around and enjoy some good looking pieces of machinery :-)

It was a bit of a thin crowd this week, but there was a lot going on around town.

The "other" Cars and Coffee seemed to have a good turnout, and it wasn't all Exoctics, but mostly. A lot of Porsche's! But I met a few Corvette owners that said they want to be more prominent with this group. We shall see how that goes.

Matt - yes cars and coffee is every Saturday year round.
The "event" on the 24th is something they do on occasion for a group get together for lack of a better word.
These events might be anything from a cruise to a local company after cars and coffee to a drive down the 555 in southern Ohio.
Just some extra icing on the cake.

Look forward to seeing you!

Last Saturday was cold and we had a good turnout
This Saturday should be nice with no home game and higher temps
Time to head out in the vette while you can

A few more for your consideration.
More flavors than Baskin Robbins this weekend.
It was great to see a number of CF regulars out at cars and coffee.
Before you know it we will be putting the cars away for the winter
