Thanks for doing this. I am sure others will find their way here eventually. I hear that event on July 7th, Vettes on the River will really be a neat event. Having 6-9 Corvette clubs attending will probably be a first in our area.

I agree. Just wish it was a bit further into the evening since I will be at work. So many great cars I will be missing.

Hopefully this can become a great yearly event. Maybe even get it to be a multi-day event.

Remember tomorrow is a big day in the QCA with Vettes on the River.

Also don't forget to stop at D&D in the morning before heading out to LeClaire. Cars and Coffee means we can invite some other car nuts down to check out all the Vettes later in the day.

Any 2013 events coming up?

I'll trying to find somebody close that has an LG Motorsports cam in in their C5 or C6. I'm really interested in the drive-ability of their G6X3 cam!

Where do you live? Have you joined the MWCC yet? I will ask in the MWCC Facebook Group about the cam for you and see if I can find someone who does.

I'm out of the QC, Bettendorf to be exact. I haven't joined the MWCC.

It's worth joining. Myself I normally only hit the drive out since I bought my vette to drive not show.

They are doing a drive out on Sunday. Believe we are meeting at Hardee's in Eldridge. If you are interested I can share the info once I know more.

I appreciate the invite, but I'll be at the track all weekend with my Vette. Running at a two day HPDE/Driving school at MAM.

My Vette doesn't sit well either. I bought it last July and racked up 15,000 miles last year alone!

Have you done AutoX with yours? There are a couple of us running with SCCAGRR and it's starting to be really good competition between us!

I never have. First I am not sure how to get insurance that will cover me. I don't want to make a $30k mistake. Second I work almost all Saturdays so I can't make stuff that happens on a Sat.

I bought my C6 last July as well and put 10k on before winter. Think I have put like 2k on so far this year.

Great way to play with your Vette's handling and the worst you'll do is hit a cone. Should be at least two Vette's there, my C6 and a heavily modified C5Z that is worth checking...it's a beast.
