Chicago Auto show - where no doubt they will have the C7 on display - starts on February 9th. Anyone know where to get some free tickets??

tickets are hard to come by lately I used to get like 10 free tickets every year . the last few years only been able to get 3 . I can't promise you any Brad but I will try to get a few extra when I hit my guy up for them .

Sure the C7 will be there? How expensive are the tickets, I haven't been in a while. Hopefully they will have the redesigned 2014 Tahoe/Escalade as well.

I am thinking about getting rid of cars completely and getting a hot air balloon. Do you think they will have those on display at the show?

I'm interested in the 2014 AirRide. I hear the basket is going to be carbon fiber and they're working on a new EcoBoost burner that will increase flight time. They're also doing away with the sand ballast and switching to rice, which will be environmentally friendly.

I've decided to convert to Old Order Amish, so I'll probably be in the market for a horse and buggy soon.

I am surprised there isn't any info out on Chicago tickets. General tix are only $12 for the Cobo show. IMO the $95 to avoid the crowds for Industry Preview was well worth it to avoid the Herds Chicago is on the Itinerary
for the C7
for the C7

The auto show is complete ball surgery. There is likely nothing there that would make me fight the crowds. It's the same philosophy I have with seeing movies in the theater. I can wait 6 months to watch a movie in the comfort of my own home. I can wait 6 months to see a C7 in a parking lot or on the road.

I have gone to the Chicago Auto Show every year since the mid 60s it's just something I do . I love the excitement seeing the new cars and the show cars . I go during the week so the crowds are not that bad .

I guess I could go during the week to avoid the crowds, but that still wouldn't help the fact that I might vomit when I see the rear end of the C7, and that would be embarrassing.
I would probably go if they gave me a free C7, because then I could roll it down to the Ford booth and trade it in on a new GT500.

Go first class and attend the First Look for Charity, a Black Tie event held this year on Feb 8 from 7 until 11PM.

I've done this. There are no crowds to contend with, hors d'oeuvres and drinks, and hospitality suites abound. It's a great experience and supports 18 local charities. Dig deep guys.
