Chicago area/ Looking for a dealership for ZR1
In about 2.5 weeks I'll be bringing home my "new to me" 2009 ZR1 and I am looking to see if any of you guys can recommend a preferably NW burbs area dealership who has a mechanic who knows his way around the LS9 motor and not just what hes read in manuals and GM update bulletins.
The car doesn't need any work right now but I'd rather have a dealership in mind if something does go South rather than scrambling to find one later. It only has 7k miles but time wise it only has the power train warranty remaining as it is past the 3 year in age mark.
Anyway any recommendations appreciated.

Sunrise Chev. on North Ave in Glen Dale Heights is a Cert ZR 1 Dealer. Where do you live? There are many good Chev. Dealers in the Chicago are.

Kevin at Libertyville is the nicest guy you want to meet A Vette tech for almost 30 years . he has a performance shop right at the dealership can't go wrong with Kevin . he did all my mods to my C5 and all other work !

I just received a flyer from Libertyville chev. and it showed another corvette perfomance tech. Is Kevin still there or has he moved on somewhere else? Kevin has been doing the work on my vette for 8 years and not really ready to try somebody else.

I think the performance center is confused with (another Kevin) the service department.
