MODS PLEASE CLOSE I BOUGHT A DIFFERENT C6

Does anybody know this car? It is being sold by NorthStar Auto in Wheeling, IL. It looks to be a beautiful example, but with very high miles. Prior to these guys obtaining it, it had been owned by someone living in or near Milan, IL from 2011-2013, and Davenport IA from 2009-2011. I have access to some of the dealer service records, but there is NOTHING after October 2011. I am particularly interested to see if a new clutch had been installed. Dealer records show owner in 2009 had complained of "noises from clutch" but would not let dealer open it up; and there is no record of any clutch work. At 142K miles, I would think it long past due.



SECOND REQUEST -- would anybody in the Chicago area be willing to take a look at this thing for me? A C6 in my price range is not common, and high miles do not scare me, provided the car has been well cared for.

Yes the EBAY listing expired, but it did not sell.

I spoke with him today. He is not moving much at all, but I view the "warranty" he offers as useless to me on the East Coast, and so I can get it for a bit less with that excluded. I know I'm looking for a needle in a haystack here, but unless I can find proof of a clutch update, and/or someone to take a spin in it for me, I'll have to pass. I had the identical color scheme with black-centered Motorsports on the Argent C5 and I loved the look. Would not mind going back to it for the right price...

As you can see, it needs a bit of cosmetic work on the interior, but it is nearly local, has 40K less miles, and a Vararam. I'll take delivery in a week or so...
