I cannot seem to get the top to stop leaking no matter what. I've played w/ tip in as well as every other adjustment. It seems there is a gap between the pieces of weatherstrip. Mostly the very front one where it meets the top of the A pillar but also the next gap back. I have disassembled and adjusted but I cannot move that piece forward at all as I don't see an adjustment. I do see 2 bolts that move that weatherstrip forward but that'd just make the gap larger between that piece and the piece behind it. And with that that front piece is screwed into the front of the top so It really can't be moved forward. I'm at a loss and I think I need a pro.

NW Chicago Burbs, Good Vert Top Installers?
Hi Guys, is there anyone that has had a good experience with a new top install in the Barrington, Wauconda, Mundelein, corridor? I am willing to go to a much wider area for a highly recommended place as well.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I would like to know this too. I went to mr. top and trim in Naperville for some window leaking issues and despite his attempts it still leaks even after he said to get new expensive GM trim to attempt to stop the leaks even though they looked like new.

Its kind of irritating because I went to a couple of these online top distributors, and used their installer locators, and most of the guys I found said they don't do top installs? Then the others that claimed they do, are stammering to each of my questions on the difference between Twillfast II or RPC, and to even provide a quote for the install. You can hear them flipping pages trying to look up the hours on a cheat sheet.
Imho, I don't want to deal with some Joe who isn't intimately familiar with Corvettes. Last time I dealt with a jack of all trades custom interior guy for my boat interior, it was a total high dollar loss, so I don't want to gamble again.
Kind of weird that my New Post some how got appended to an old thread dating back to 2014? Thanks Mods?

I asked this exact question and it seems there are no local guys who are vette experts anymore. The company I referenced was highly recommended but it was still a fail.

Thanks I've almost given up. I spent nearly a grand total at Mr. to and trim (He said I should get OEM pieces which I did and aren't cheap) and it still leaked. My old pieces looked fine and were still pliable so I'm almost 100% sure they were fine. So between that and the labor it wasn't cheap for no results . I'm gunshy going to another place and having the same result.
