Well it basically was if you weren't a Sunburst vette member, you didn't win or place. Very few non members won. Nice weather though.

They are obviously trying to appease newer members but people wake up and realize what goes on and move on. I know several clubs boycotted that show due to the president bashing St Jude fundraising earlier in the year. His mistake was to do it to a founding member of a Much larger club. I am glad I'm out!

We went, not knowing about the "history." I can see how people would be turned off as club members always seem to win, but in looking at it when the peoples choice awards are club members voting for their friends, I can see why. We are not club members, my dad's vette took two 1st place trophies. All in all it was a great day weather wise, wish they would have been a little bit quicker with the tallying of the votes...was a long day in the sun.

Not my monkey's, not my Circus (anymore)! I had stopped going to other local club shows for the same reasons. It's a popularity contest. I have found plenty to do through this forum and with friends. I don't need a club to have fun with my car.

Actually looking at the results non Sunburst members did very well. However at almost any car show where there are people choice ballots the home club will do very well based on the fact that more club members support the show
