Well then. My brother just bought tickets for me to take the '65 to the Corvette Car Corral Experience at the Detroit Grand Prix. I'm glad I got it back on the road.

You had to pay an extra fee for that? At Road America all of that is included with the general ticket, except the parade lap.

Yes, a number of us have done it and yes, it's worth it. Particularly for the on-island parking and the hospitality tent.

I've been to Road America as well and the two Corvette corrals are nothing alike.

I attended for the first time this year, the on island parking was great, food and non alcoholic drinks provided at hospitality tent, paddock passes for up close views of cars and teams, and three awesome laps of the track. No we couldn't wind the cars up but stretched their legs a little. great time in all. PS bring sun screen!!

I'll be going to Matick on Sat, thinking of taking the C1, but the wife is more comfortable in the C7. Our friends went last year and said it was a blast.
