I am again organizing anther trip down to the Dragon. This is an open invite for anyone interested in going to Gatlinburg Tenn. I am choosing the week of October 3 thru Oct 10. I plan on going for the entire week but anyone can come a spend a week or a few days, depending on how long you want to be there. I will be contacting the same motel we were staying at this year and will get back to you on availability and a price.

There is a whole lot to do in the area that you will not be bored. As before you can do anything you want at anytime you want. There is no set itinerary as what and when you want to do anything.

If you have any questions on the trip just ask and I will try to get the answer. This is a fun time and a lot of fun with a bunch of corvette people. If you couldn't make it this year, I sure hope by me putting this out here now that you might be able to plan ahead. Some of us had a great time this year and hope you can join us again for 2015.

Check out Www.watershedcabins.com for luxury cabin rentals. I vacation down in Bryson City, NC every year and this is the company I use. Bryson is located at the southern end of the Tail and is away from the mainstream tourist attractions.

Going to be calling Luanne at Mountain House Inn and reserve rooms and get a good rate. I plan to start off with 10 rooms reserved. Check back here for the rate we will be paying. Hope we can get another good group going again.

Ok everyone, I have 10 rooms reserved for Oct 3 thru Oct 10. The price per room is $68.00 plus tax . I think they will be double bed rooms. I am sure that you can change if you want at a possible price increase. Just call Mtn House Inn and reserve your room . Tell them at the desk it is the party of ORANGE.

Just for those that are watching this thread, there is a lot to do in the area. There is the Cherahola hwy, Bridal falls( great picture opp). Lots to do in Pigeon Forge too. Go carts, mini golf, and luge type runs in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Might think about a day trip down to Jack Daniels Distilleries.

As I said before there is no set itinerary we make up things as we go. Had a good group last year . Looking forward to another fun time.

Take as much time as you want, a few days or whole week.

Just thought I would just refresh your minds on the trip. Looking forward to a good time again. If you have never been to the Dragon, here's your chance. We have a few of us who have been there and can steer you to some good times. Lots to see and do. You can either spend the week or how many days you can get.

Not to hi-jack your thread Jack but I want to let everyone know if you can't make it in October I will be going in June also. So if June works better for some of you feel free to get in touch with me. Everyone driving anything is invited as always This is what I will be slaying the dragon with this year

As the snow comes down out side I just think about the fun we are going to have in Gatlinburg this fall. Here is another chance for those that could not make it last year. You have plenty of time at this point to reserve a room and time off if needed.
