Another year comes to an end !
with the end of the year approaching. I look back at the friends I have made here . at first it was all about owning a corvette but over the years true great friendships have began . many of the original crew do not even own a corvette now . but we are still corvette lovers . we get together once a month for lunch and solve the worlds problems 
we talk corvettes , cars and any other thing that comes up . and of course we laugh till our sides hurt . we made great friends with the other side of the big pond the WMC they became a part of the chicago crew . with many events with both crews . with another chapter coming to an end for me I'm retiring after 41 at the same job . will I have another corvette it's hard to say or maybe a 69 GTO 
either way I'll be here with my friends corvette or no corvette this is a great place to hang out and make friends see you all soon JohnFather aka Johnnyvettes

Congrats on the retirement Johnny!! If you are bored .................... I am going to be doing the '66 over the winter...............
All (well most) of the major parts are either on order or sitting in the garage. She goes in for complete suspension rebuild early December, and should be done around the end of January; then the fun begins!
