With the absence of the World of Wheels in Green Bay, some friends and I have been talking about the need for an indoor car show in Green Bay at our expo centers.

We've created what we are calling the Northeast Wisconsin Motorama. We've leased both buildings which are connected. On one side we are doing a motorsports show featuring all aspects of motorsports from our area, dirt track, asphalt track, drag racing, motocross, truck pulling, etc.

In the second building, a 100% Corvette show. My thoughts are a Corvette show this year, next year possibly switch brands in an effort for it not to go stale, or grow the Corvette Show depending on response/interest this year.

The website is not complete, but shaping up. Give me a few days and I'll have all forms attached, and it'll be cleaned up.

Security will be present, this is a 3 day, indoor show at the Brown County Veterans Memorial Arena and Shopko Hall. There will be judging, trophies, possibly cash given out for prizes, etc.

I just completed, and sent out a down payment for Courtney Hansen to also appear for the 3 days. It's a big project, I'm looking for cars, vendors, and also welcome to suggestions and input.

I've had a few questions and concerns.

One, yes this is all indoors, and I will have security 24 hours per day throughout the show.

Judging...John Gunnell will be judging and I'm waiting for one more person like him to commit. John was Editor of Old Car Weekly for 30 some years, has written 40 auto related books, and has been the backbone of some very large 500 plus car Corvette shows.

This keeps judging fair. I'll have trophies, and hopefully some cash if this thing looks like it will break even. Still working this part of it, but will be doing something unique and cool!
