I have been thinking what I want to do as far as St Jude fund raising this year. My idea is Chicago Cars for St Jude Friday night Cruise night at ARA Cabinets 39 S Milwaukee Ave Wheeling 60090. If we get a big enough weekly draw we could cook hot dogs, chips and soft drinks. We would need a sponsor to cover this cost. This will be a fair weather only event and run from 6 - 9 PM. All Cars and Bikes would be welcome. I would like to do a monthly auction if we can get items donated. All proceeds will go to the Corvette Forum St Jude fundraising effort. Milwaukee Ave Wheeling IL 60090 SE Corner of Milwaukee Ave and Dundee Rd. 6PM to 8:30PM every Friday Night starting as soon as weather permits. This will be a fair weather only weekly event. Hot dogs, Chips and Ice Cold waters will be provided by KAC Enterprises LLC for a nominal donation to St Jude Childrens Research Hospital. All cars / Bikes will be welcomed. Deb, the Forum check presentation is in September in Memphis. They give us a police escort, and we are welcomed at St Judes like royalty. Everyone is welcome to attend this ceremony. It is truly life changing. It has become our yearly trip. It is great to see the payoff of our efforts. The kids and parents truly are grateful for all we do. This would make a great Vette Nation trip! Last year we had about 50 cars in attendance.

You might want to check the September thing. This will be my 7th year going to Memphis and it always has been on Columbus Day which this year falls on October 12th

I like the change to Chicago Cars for St. Jude as the overall name, but don't we also want to let people know its still the same coffee kind of event? Maybe call the event (as opposed to the name of the purpose) the "Chicago Cars & Coffee for St. Jude". Just my .02

. Brad we are doing a cars and coffee with Dan Maroney on May 3 In the AM. I am doing a weekly cruise night at Ara on Friday nights. I changed the name trying to gain more interest. Weekend mornings were getting to be too hard and attendance was dropping off. I guess I can make coffee too if people want.
