Wondering if anyone close to Bill Kay Chevy Dealership
601 Ogden Avenue, Lisle, IL 60532 ?
If so are they an honest dealership?I'm trying to do a internet long distance buy.I know this is scary to say the least.
Anyhow,I'm Tony from near Nashville,Tn.I'm interested in a "96" Grand Sport that Bill Kay Chevy is going to sell.So If anybody is close by to give the car a visual inspection.Like the leather,paint chips,spider cracks and so on.The car has a good car fax,one owner and low miles,so I'm sure its what they say it is.But I had an experience from HELL on a Ebay auto purchase so I'm gun shy.
If anybody is in the neighborhood or drives by there I'd appreciate a quick going over.Be glad to pay for your time and gas.PM me for contact name and number.

I would ask the guy to whip out his phone and make a couple of video clips for you. That'll give you a better idea then just pics.

Sure did.I called them yesterday and got stuck with a internet sales person that knew absolutely nothing about this car.No matter what question I ask about the car,answer was "PERFECT".

I had a great experience with them. My steering lock went out again and I had to have it towed to them. The did a history on my car and saw that all maintenance was done on my car since new at a Chev, dealer. Including a prior recall on the steering lock. They replaced the entire steering system on my car and didn't charge me a thing. They also sponsor Golden Glass Corvette Club and put a huge Concourse and Car show every year.

George the service director is a NCRS / Bloomington judge. They have a good reputation from most in the corvette community

Sounds like you might be dealing with Bill Kay Corvettes & Classics which is a used car store at 2100 Ogden Ave in Downers Grove. Rick Peterson bought my 2008 convertible last September. I got a good price and the deal was quick and smooth. The Grand Sport looks very nice.
