Parking is tough and pricy during the cruise. thereis a corvette show at the Kingsley Inn on Wed night in Birmingham with a vette cruise on Woodward. Ifpossible come a few days earlier, the real cruise is going on now....by Saturday it will bea parking lot with mostly lookers. Stop by Sams Shell prior to Wed to see some of the hottest local cars.

Pay to park along the route I didn't know, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised!

What about finding a spot to pull up a chair and watch??

Most spots will already be taken by clubs, etc. on Saturday. Parking on the side streets is tough, so you may want to get in early. If you are in town earlier in the week, you could get your fill on any evening. But on Saturday, the actual cruise day, Woodward will be jammed with cars!

Bring walking shoes, because I find it best to get out and walk.

I will be with the NCRS Michigan Chapter at Maple and Fifteen if you get up that way, stop in and say hello.

Enjoy the show!

I usually park in one of parking decks in Birmingham. The corvette clubs are always in Birmingham along with the Chevrolet Display. Parking usually only costs like a $1 or $2.

The best advise is to come early on Saturday (like before 9am). You should be able to find some parking on a side street (for free) and be able to post up in a chair for the day. Some other notes...

- GM display at 15 mile
- FCA display at 13 mile
- Ford display at 9 mile
- Lots of parked cars to admire in downtown Birmingham (15 mile) and also at Memorial park in Royal Oak (13 mile and woodward).

Here's a map to help you out, no doubt you'll have fun!

Thanks for all the help and advice! We parked at the garage where the 66 was stolen, oops. Brought chairs and coolers and was on Woodward by 9. Walked to 12 mile and back and our stuff was fine.

Sunburn and tired. but a great day!

Thanks Again!
