Just another great outcome from a great shop.
Had Speed Inc install a LS7 in my C5 about 4 years ago. This past spring I installed a ported intake and throttle body and wanted a retune and some new numbers on the setup. Unknowing by any of us, PRC thought it was ok to reuse stock exhaust valves on the heads that were installed 4 years earlier. So as the car was being retuned this past March, it dropped a exhaust valve on the dyno, the engine was not salvageable.
Tom and Jim, thank you for being so caring that day, your sincere show of sympathy toward my loss was helpful knowing it'll be ok.
Long story short, I picked up another LS7 and I'm up and running again. This time made sure the valves in the WCCH heads were not stock and as added security I'm running a double roller timing chain.
Jim, thank you for the great tune with the larger cam, I drove the car home in rush hour, stop and go traffic with the A/C on.
Tom, thank you again for all you did to get the car back to me. Your actions do not go unnoticed nor unappreciated.
You guys are A OK in my book!

Pete,
Long time man, hope your doing well. Sorry to hear about the failure of your LS7 engine at the beginning of this season (been there done that in my old school 565 ci, 1967 Camaro, and that is never fun or inexpensive).
Great news that your baby is up and running bigger and badder than ever and that Speed, Inc., took great care of you and your sweet, white, C5 Z.
Best of luck with the new engine.
