Are you talking about track for the OHD or the actual header? I just had new custom doors installed last year and had my 3rd car bay done with a "high lift" track which bring it up near the ceiling along with a wall mount opener. I plan to install a 4 post lift in this bay for additional storage.
If you are interested in this type of work contact Matt Matalis at AV overhead door, his number is 630-816-5260 and tell him that Mike Kennedy referred you.
Here are a couple photos of the work he did for me.

Looks like mine but I have a traditional opener, high lift tracks are about 8" from the ceiling with opener as close to the ceiling as possible. The only challenge I had was the opener mounts above the header now, so the installer has to be careful to secure it well to the stud. I plan to cut the drywall out and beef that area up with plywood at some point, but it's been fine for 8 years

Lifts
I recently moved houses west of Chicago and have a single post and 4 post lift to sell. Can't add them to the new house as the garage won't work with them without major structural changes to the home beyond raising doors and joists. (I know everyone got what they wanted in the new house but me....the sacrifices we make for family )
They are currently being held for me by the man/company that sold them to me (RHI Lifts). He can install for you as well. Will make you a hell of a deal. 4 post lifts are @$1600 new + installation. Single posts even more. PM me if interested and I'll get you a picture or 2 and more info.
