I saved a grage queen once then sold it. Now I use use use the car and I will have a badge of honor when it hits 100k. I just polished the car today and will drive it this weekend all day long.

Most excellent! I fear there are too many waxers and garage queens on this forum ( forum member Q.S.Z. quickly comes to mind).

Robert, put if you don't go over 3,200 rpm those miles don't count!
You know its all in good fun my friend since you constantly bust my ***** about never making the monthly lunches.
Awesome November day today, Saturday, November 14th, as I had a chance to blast out in the Viper and then blast clay pigeons and break in my brand new sporting shotgun at Medina Country Club (where a friend invited me as his guest). For those who have never been inside Medina Country Club the place is spectacular and really beautiful in the fall also (what a property, extremely impressive). After shooting today I blasted down to Bass Pro Shop in Bolling brook and stocked up on another 500 rounds of 12 gauge sporting clay rounds. What a blast and its great to come up with new hobbies I can see the sporting clay hobby is going to be quit addictive, as I will be shooting more Sporting Clays at my gun club tomorrow (Aurora Sportsman Club in Waterman, IL) and its forecasted to be 63 degrees and sunny.

Enjoy it while you can guys as I don't think we will see another day like today, Sunday, Nov 15th, for a good 5 months or so (64 degrees and all soon).
Took a nice pleasant ride through the Countryside today to my gun club in Waterman, IL, Aurora Sportsman Club, where I shot skeet for 3 hours, and then took my wife out for a great dinner in Oakbrook mall. Just about the perfect day and I would trade in 60 degrees and sunny everyday for our climate any day of the year, and be happy as heck!!

Excellent, Happy Birthday #50 your sweet Gen 2 Vette.
Here in Chicagoland we are on gas fumes as 3 to 6 inches of snow is forecasted this Friday night into Saturday night and now its looking like it will more than that.
The good new is that if even 12 inches fall into Saturday afternoon it will all be melted in a few days, and maybe enough moisture to rinse away the salt for a few more weekends in your Vettes and my Viper? Wishful thinking I guess.
Only time will tell but last year I was able to drive into the first week of January (but really doubt that's going to happen this year).

I drove the Corvette today 50 miles I did not get out of the garage until 10pm or I would have driven more, still trying to break in the new clutch. The rain and or snow is forecast to arrive in our area starting around 9pm so if my schedule permits I will drive quite a bit on Friday also.
The only other cars that are “Vette, Muscle Car or other Bad Azz” that I spotted today were a silver GS on I55 in evening rush and a PCP Challenger in Countryside. Yesterday I spotted a 2011 GWE SRT8 Challenger at California and Irving Park in the North Center neighborhood.
Another reason to get the Vette out is Premium Unleaded gas at the Shell at 159th and Bell road is $2.58/ Gallon. I can’t remember the last time I was filling the tank for that price and I have owned the Corvette for 25 years!!!

Since my Vette is on a low salt diet it goes to nap mode after a drive later.

Would have done it with my C6Z, but couldn't find snow tires in the right size.
There are too many dry days in the winter to give up driving these great cars form months because of the bad days.
