I LOVE it, Sunday December 20, 2015, 45 degrees and dry and just another day for me, the wife, and the Viper. We blasted out to the wife's cousin's Christmas party in Mount Prospect and had a great time both driving there and coming home and of course the party itself!

The last thing I am concerned about at this point is driving my Viper through a couple of pockets of dry salt powder and not taking full advantage of what has to be the easiest and warmest December we have seen in MANY, many years, here in greater Chicago-land!

Yes, the salt was just dust, not pebbles. Thinking Christmas Day may be a nice low traffic day good for a long cruise

Merry Christmas to one & all! Like the movie "It's A Great Life" drove my Corvette on Christmas Day here in the Midwest! What a super ending to 2015.

Amen brother! Christmas Day in greater Chicagoland is just another picture perfect corvette or other fast sports or muscle car driving day, 45 degrees and sunny, you gotta LOVE IT!!

As my wife and I are hosting Christmas today my Viper is resting in its bat's cave but otherwise I would have been out all day in it. She will be out the entire rest of the weekend if the rain stays away.

Merry Christmas everybody, have a great time celebrating the SAVIOR of the World's Birthday!

Wow, had the corvette out earlier going on errand runs for today's family festivities. Can't believe it's sunny with temps in the lower 40's where I am. Merry Christmas everyone!

Flooding is never good!!

Would have been the perfect CHRISTMAS weekend for me if it didn't rain all day Saturday and Sunday in Chicagoland, which prevented me from taking my Viper out, primarily because you just can't hot rod a very high performance rear wheel drive car with wet roads, and secondarily, because I'm just too lazy to wash it (when it gets TRUELY dirty from rain and puddles on the roadway).

That's a sweet combo in the garage! Must be hard to decide which to drive some days. One question... They look like they are parked so tight, how did you get in/out of the Vette? Crawl through to the passenger seat?

YEP, it was fun while it lasted John father but the chit has definitely hit the fan!

BUT, with any luck this will all melt in the next few days and if the roads are clear and dry (and not a salt nightmare) its just a matter of time that I will be out and about within the next weekend or two in my weekend warrior (Viper Venom Monster).

I set them as close as I could so I could see if I jammed them in the corner by sliding them over on the dollies I could get my wife's car in the garage. Won't work unless my wife would climb out the sun roof. When I had my C3, and my 323 BMW I could get 3 cars in the garage. But the Z4 and C5 have Big butts so I rented a garage for the C5 so my wife can fit this without climbing out of the sun roof.

I'm stuck for at the next two weeks... I cannot get the Vette out.

The trip down the River is no go. The road is closed due flooding... And what is beautiful drive it is when the road is open!

Jeez...

That doesn't sound like too much fun my friend! Keep your know to the grindstone it will be springtime before you know it!

Well I guess my timing is perfect as soon as winter hits Chicago I am in Fort Lauderdale right on the ocean beach front bringing in the new YEAR with some friends and my wife where its 84 degrees during the day and 79 balmy degrees as I type this at 12:45 a.m. at night (half in the bag) Life is good my friends now if I only had my Viper down here right now!

Happy New Years Everybody, I hope its a Happy, Prosperous and Healthy New year in 2016 for you and yours!
