Windy City Classic Cars??
I'm planning on buying some parts for my '63 Roadster from an outfit called Windy City Classic Cars out of Westmont Il. Working with Don there. Seems like a great guy and very knowledgeable. It's a good size deal (at least for me), so I don't want to get burned. To add to my trepidation, it's a Craigslist find.
Has anybody done business with Windy City Classic, or knows this Don?
Any information is appreciated.
Thanks!

Hmm, no web page for them?

Z, my thoughts as well.
The guy seems more like a hobbyist, than a business. Claims to have all kinds of parts.
I hate long distance deals, but these old parts are getting tough to find. I guess I'll have to take a trip and investigate before I commit.
Thanks for your view.

Thanks Carvan, correct.
No address, or reference to Windy City Classic Cars in the Craigslist post; but when I googled the number given in the CL posting it came up with the same information that Carvan found.
I'm trying to buy a frame for my 1963 roadster from the guy. Even if I can lay eyes on the frame, I'm not really sure how to thoroughly asses it. Rust, metal condition I have a shot at, but if it's somehow sprung, I don't know that I can pick it out. The guy seems great and on the up and up, but in this case, KNOWING he's a straight shooter would give me some confidence in my decision.
I'm going to try and search the forum for some frame buying tips. After 50 years between the '63 production rune and now, there seems to be a lot of Frankenstein frames around; created from the cold dead parts of numerous other frames.
