So summer is 1/2 way over so who is having fun guys?
I know that I am as my 2009 Viper has been replaced by a 2016 Laguna Blue C7 Z06 with the 8 speed automatic trans., and my 2008 every driver Dodge Challenger SRT8 has been replaced with a mint condition, low mile, mill. yellow C5 Z06 (my current daily driver), b/c life is just too short!
Of course still have my 565 ci 1967 Show and Go Camaro.
Mopar Jimmy has gone full circle back to his roots but no, I am not going to change my name Corvette/Camaro Jimmy.

I've been enjoying the Challenger, just logged 2200 miles on my road trip out west. What a blast to drive, car performed perfectly. I managed to avg about 23-24mpg (in non sport mode of course with the cruise set at 80 most of the way )
Any of you guys go to any cruise nights still or whatever let me know. I was considering going to Rolling Meadows this Friday if they still have that meet at the church there.

Yeah, although I go to Downers Grove on Fridays and when I get there I am always working on my laptop b/c I get there very early, and I rather work there hanging with my car and mixing my work with a hobby I am very passionate about, then being cooped up in the office in the summer time especially. I know that the Church in Rolling Meadows still has there cruise nights on Kirchoff (sp?) Road and they get HUGE turnouts.
Your B5 Blue Challenger is awesome mine was nothing but 100% reliable for 5.5 years and B5 Blue is my favorite color on that car.

Thank you Deb, much appreciated.
I have to see my Laguna Blue with black rims and accents and your red Z with black rims and black accents are my 2 of my favorite colors bar none on a C7 Z!
Did you go with the M7 Trans or the A8, since your C6 ZR1 has a manual tranny?

I went M7! Z is so much easier to shift. Took a bit to get used to the softer clutch. It's a fun car as you know

It was GREAT Running into my very good corvette forum friend member, Vettesmith02 (Stephen), at the Westmont, IL, car show this past Thursday August 4, 2016.
Stephen, it was a great to finally meet you in person my friend and shoot the chit, talk corvettes, cool cars, and to meet your daughter and her young child (and your grandchild)!
Hope you have a safe trip back home to Godfrey, Illinois.
