I posted in the C6 thread and was directed here. I am looking at buying my first vette. One of the few that meet my preferences is at Jorns in Kewaunee. Unfortunately that's a long way from South Carolina. Is anyone familiar with the dealership? Anyone close by and willing to take a peek at a car in person?

Reputable dealer. Small town Chevy dealership and the owner loves Corvettes. Lots of people in our club have purchased from Jorn's with no issues! I am about an hour away but could potentially take a spin there sometime this week.

Thanks Holy. My other thread in the C6 forum elicited similar responses. I'm gonna talk to them and see if we can get close on something today or tomorrow. Thanks for the offer to potentially check it out. I'll let you know.

I didn't get the PM. I have been talking to Jesse. I am just interested in knowing if there is anything that I can't see with the pictures and general driveability issues, etc. Sounds like your brother has driven it and it checks out fine. I am trying to find an appraiser/inspector to take a peek at it too if necessary, so if anyone knows of a good one in the area that recommendation would be appreciated too. This forum is awesome.

The only place that I can think of to help on a check out is Corvette Sports in Sheboygan Falls,Wi Tele # is 920-467-2833. They specialize in all year Corvette repair/ rebuild/and restoration. I get my Corvette serviced there. They are a father and son business. Last time I was there,they had a C6 on the rack getting race preped for Road America-aka Elkhart Lake. You'll get my report in 24 hours. You are correct-some great folks on this forum!!!!

Hi Matt, I just got back from Jorns. I met with Jesse and we went thru the white C6 vert. The car is extremely clean from bumper to bumper. I couldn't find any stone chips on the front bumper. Actually,I couldn't even find a spec of fly sh$t on the car. The trunk looks like it was never used. The leather seats are free of any stains, rips or tears. Carpet was stain free with no wear spots. The engine started on the 2nd plug to fire and settled in to a smooth idle. The oil pressure came up quickly at idle and held steady. I put my ears near to the valve covers. Valve train was quiet, no rattle. The crankshaft pulley was running true with no wobble or run out, so it looks like the harmonic balancer is good. Jesse mentioned that they put new rear brake pads in last week. Tires looked good . I couldn't find any reason not to buy this C6. It runs strong and is solid.
