I call that an upgrade. Even though you move 3 model years back.

QKSLVR is tradition, it stays (plus I have over $1,000 invested in that plate!).

Sounds like my Wife

Shoulder bolsters, USB port & gills are an easy trade for an LS9.

Personalized America Remembers License Plates

Newly acquired vehicle/first-time issuance - $283 ($95 title fee + $101 registration fee + $40 America Remembers license plates fee + $47 personalized fee)

Annual renewal - $135 ($101 registration fee + $27 America Remembers license plates fee + $7 personalized fee)

You should run for secretary of State.

I tend to agree with John, you can't count the base registration fee. That's independent of that specific plate. Cost of the plate would be any unique charges due to it being non-standard in design and being personalized.

So $87 initially plus $34 per year.

You guys can do your math and I'll do mine...

Newly acquired vehicle/first-time issuance - $196
Currently titled vehicle/first-time issuance - $188
Annual renewal - $135 x 8 = $1,080
Credit card use fee - $3 x 4 = $12
Transferring Plates - $25 x 3 = $75

Total investment for QKSLVR = $1,551

Besides

is already taken...

That's awesome Bob, congrats, really happy for you, you now are the proud owner of the fastest (with its 205 mph top end) corvette ever made!!!

Now just remember its okay to see in excess of 3,500 rpms from time to time.

All ball busting aside, enjoy Betty in good health my friend!
