Made a deal they couldn't refuse so Kevin K. and I drove to Iowa to pick up the car. Traded the 2012 A6 3LT Blade Silver Grand Sport on a 2009 M6 3ZR Cyber Gray ZR1.
BIG thanks to Kevin for his invaluable expert assistance!

I'd call it the more powerful, experienced replacement...Ya that's the ticket!

After putting 400 miles on the ZR1 in 24 hours of ownership and giving her a wash all I miss about the GS is the low number of spokes to clean!

The GS (though a fine car) was never meant to be more than a placeholder while waiting for a C7 and that never materialized. I wanted to experience a Corvette with an automatic transmission and got that out of the way (not so likey).

You can use the lift anytime you want. We need to do the alignment and polish that puppy up. I'll have the turn plates on Thursday Let me know when the mafia finishes the plates, I'll take a ride.

Just remember you are now on the Mafia's clock. I spoke to the "Head Criminal" (as I affectionately call him) today and put in an order for 4 aluminum plates plates, 3/16" thick. Stay tuned...
