Default Out with the old, in with the new (to me at least)

I've been chasing a 2013 427 convertible for a few months now and finally came to a deal with a Chevrolet dealer in Fargo, ND. I wanted a low mile, like new car and the whole search became quite frustrating. Lots of low mile cars out there that haven't been taken care of with crushed front splitters, paint damage, etc.

I thought I had come to a deal a few weeks ago with Auto Showcase of Carol Stream, but they were a bunch of shysters. I went to look at the car on a Thursday night. They quoted me a price and I went back to wrap it up on a Friday, but they decided to add a $700 "Prep Fee" over night and then had the stones to tell me I wasn't living up to the deal when I walked out. Bunch of shady jerks in my opinion.

I had been working the deal in Fargo concurrently to that one and it finally came together. It was a really good experience with Gateway Chevrolet and a salesman named Jeff Meyer. He was very honest about the condition of the 2013 (it is like new) and worked hard over about 2 weeks time to get a deal that worked for both of us. I was nervous doing a long distance deal, but when I got there, the car was everything they said it was. I wound up with a lower mile, better condition car than the Auto Showcase deal for just a few hundred bucks more. I really can't say enough good things about the Fargo dealer.

My "new to me" 2013 had 2,310 miles on it when I picked it up on Saturday. I put another 655 on it driving it back home. It was a great trip. They should have a very clean 2008 11,000 mile 3LT up on their website soon if anyone is looking.

Obligatory picture attached, my old 2008 is on the left. I added the Novistretch Mask to the 2013 for the trip home.
