Viper's coming out for the weekend before we get a little snow Monday/Tuesday. I predict once that little snow melts quickly that will be the last of the snow for the year let's see what happens.
Just 20 Days now and counting down until April 1st and only 9 days to the first day of Calendar Spring, March 20th, when most my toys should be out on a full time basis (by Calendar Spring); but probably way sooner than that, as mild as this winter that we are having!

Bob, I knew you couldn't stay away from my thread and eventually it would wear you down.
Last beautiful day for the Viper b/f she rests for a week or two depending how quickly the roads clean up and that should be fairly quick.

Sooooo I wake up this morning, and I see white stuff everywhere. My brain for about 30 seconds was so confused it was unable to process it. Then I realized it was snow, lots of snow. Then I was sad. I'm hoping to be regularly driving the car soon, but this is not looking so good. This week, more snow....

Meh, I'm not impressed by winter's last gasp this will all be melted by the weekend and after the next rain its full steam ahead, especially with the current forecast calling for rain on Friday (to wash up the roads) and 43 and 45 degrees and sunny this upcoming weekend.
Had a blast in my Viper all weekend checked out a new gun range in Hodgkins called Point Blank decent place and always good for a visit to Gats also. Also, got the Viper all nice and clean with a good hand wash and she sits patiently under her car cover but will be back on the prowl very soon! My winter beater (2002 Jeep Cherokee) was feeling lonely and needed her battery recharged and it feels great abusing that car in some winter conditions.
BEST New is:

Snow is already half melted and streets and sidewalks are already down to the wet pavement as it washes the salt off of the road during that process.
Just 18 Days now and counting down until April 1st and only 6 days to the first day of Calendar Spring, March 20th, when most my toys should be out on a full time basis (by Calendar Spring); but probably way sooner than that, as mild as this winter that we are having has been!

I'm hoping to have the car out Sunday. Assuming it rains here Friday and Saturday (and they keep those salt trucks inside). Otherwise it might not be until after real spring.... BOO!
