Spring is almost here in Detroit!
I'm changing the oil on the C7 this weekend, and taking off the cover. I'll leave the tender on it, but it will be ready to drive at a moments notice!
This Winter has been extremely mild, and I love it!

Its been the same here in mid-Missouri - a very mild winter overall. Probably less than 3" total snowfall and temps have been very reasonable for a winter. In fact, most of this week it is supposed to be in the 60s. I'll take it.

But I'm cautiously optimistic because the "capacitors" (aka the Great Lakes) which keep Michigan cold (in the winter) and warm (in the summer), are warmer than normal for February.
Once the lakes unfreeze, it's really hard to get anything other than a "dump and melt" storm. Especially on the east side of the state!
So my optimism will continue!

Myself, I like to see a good rain to wash all the road salt off the road's before I'm cruising again.....
Still have to get through March yet..... and all you guy's with aluminum frames, salt would make me extra nervous!

supposed to be 60 on Saturday with sunshine, and 57 on Sunday with sunshine............still too much salt / road grime on the roads for me to drive mine, but I do plan to pull it out and give it a bath and exposure to fresh air in the driveway

In Chicago this is one of the warmest Feb. since 1871. Must have been pre Gore Global warming
70+ degree temperatures were only recorded three other times since 1871:
70-degrees on February 11, 1999
72-degrees on February 25, 2000
75-degrees on February 27, 1976

Took the car out again today! Here it is when I got back from the store, all happy and freshly drive
I still keep it on the tender in the garage though, just have to remember to unplug/replug it!

This is the first time in many years that I don't have a fun street car for the summer. I sold my C5Z last fall so all I have is the C6 racecar. How long is my sanity going to last?
