Why don't I get email noification for subscribing?
Why, when I check that I want to subscribe to a thread and I want "instant email notification", I never receive a response? I will subscribe to this post but I bet you I don't get an email!

You should receive one email for the first response.... See if you get an email for this response.. I will also forward your issue to the Admins...

I sent myself an email through the forum and did not receive it. Also still not getting email notification. I checked the address on file and it is correct. Any suggestions?

Click on "User CP" on the upper left part of the top menu bar, then click on "Edit Options", then scroll to "Messaging and Notifications", then make sure that the "Receive Email from Administration" and the "Receive Email From Other Members" boxes are checked, then scroll to the bottom and click "save changes"

I just checked and "Receive Email From Other Members" was checked and "Receive Email from Administration" was not checked. Both are checked now as you suggested. I will try to send myself an email again and see if it works.

Any news? I think this is a more widespread problem than you think. I saw a post in the C3 section where someone said they were not getting email notification.

Don't know if this will help but I also subscribe to threads at the NCRS site and I do not get email notification from that site either. Email notification stopped about a month ago for both CF and NCRS site. The only thing I can think of is that I regularly run "anti-adware" software on my computer, and have a spyware program that runs at all times.
Also the problem is with email through the forum and subscriptions. Is there a file that is on my computer (that I may have eliminated) that allows notification?
