Default How do I stop spam email from vendors

Once in a while like today I get spam emails. It says I approved when I signed up for corvette forum

When I click on the unsubscribe or manage email button nothing happens

Is there a way to do it in my user CP ?

Thanks !

Those emails come from CorvetteForum and not a "vendor".

We will look into the issue with the links not working correctly.

Thanks.

I keep getting internet brands spam too, today from the JK forum via internet brands, I once again hit unsubscribe but I must have done this a 1/2 dozen times in the last two months.

I wonder if it re-subscribes us every time we log in again? Today I was using a different computer and had to log-in, I got spam within a short time after that.

No. It was a coincidence. The JK subscription was sent out today.

Have you been unsubscribing from the same websites? JK forum is not part of CorvetteForum as they operate on different databases. Your membership over JK, to have received a JK subscription, is not tied to your CorvetteForum membership.

I've never been to their website and am not a member, it said I received this because I subscribed to emails from Internet Brands, which I did not, so I clicked the unsubscribe again. I've done that on a half dozen various emails from IB ranging from corvette forum to other forums I've never heard of.

thanks-

-Dan

Dan, I'm told that this should be fixed as your email address was removed from the mailing list database.
