Default Uploading pics

Unable to upload any pictures. The last time I tried, I could only upload one picture at a time, but now I can't upload any.

Also, the icons on the smiles page don't match up. There are two spam icons and the yawn icon is in the wrong place plus more. Is there a bug in your system?

How large are the files you're trying to upload?

Regarding the smilies, I don't see the issue. I would suggest you clear your browser's cache. Not the cookies, but the cache. Or do a hard refresh using the CTRL and F5 key to refresh the page and bypass the cache.

I'm using my iPad. Did not have an issue before. 375 kb.

I just tried again. All I get is 10% complete, please wait. But I've wated five minutes and nothing happens.

Are you sure that's the file size? That's very small.

Between that and the smilies issues you reported, you should clear your browser's cache.

I cleared the browser cache, and now the icons are okay. I wanted to post a screen shot to show you, but can't.

And yes, that's the size of the picture.

Have you tried a different picture? The uploader appears to be working correctly for me and also based on recent activity from other members. It also works in all recent and major browsers.

I'll try and upload the same picture that I did before.

I tried again. Did not work. The message that pops up is "alert, time out".

The error I'm getting is "503 backened fetch failed". I've tried several things including re booting my router and iPad. Didn't help.

Okay, I've tried getting on your forum from other devices but can't even connect. I've checked with Apple and they say the problem is with the server. I have no problem connecting to any other website.

This is not likely related to your upload issue. The 503 error from today is likely caused by the cache server and occurs from time to time. CF, due to its size and activity, requires multiple hardware to run and from time to time not everything works correctly and works correctly together.

I've tried to find the cure on my end but all my efforts have pointed to the Corvette Forum website as the source of the problem. Is there a way for you to confirm that, and then can you fix it from your end?

So the device is an ipad? What version OS is it running?

The picture uploader is working correctly for me and, based on activity, correctly for others. Since CorvetteForum uses a custom script for the picture uploader, you won't find it on other websites besides others in the Internet Brands network so it isn't safe to say that the issue is on CorvetteForum's end when the issue could be with your ipad. CorvetteForum has several ipad users and I haven't heard similar reports besides one recent report that's possibly related to the new 8 OS.
