Mobile Version Flaky
I have carefully researched the forum regarding mobile version problems. Admin suggests using a link (styleid=140), but it doesn't work for me. The frustrating part is that sometimes it works, and sometimes I can only view the desktop version on my Android phone. I've cleared the cookies on my phone, manually typed https://www.corvetteforum.com in my browser, and have logged in and out.
I've not made any changes to skins since becoming a member in 2011.
Why does the mobile version work sometimes and not others? Why can't I find skin settings in my CP while on my phone?
Please help. I hate the desktop version on my phone!
Thanks in advance.

Same for me on my Android tablet with current Chrome. Styleid=140 comes up by default for me on mobile site. This seems to happen every couple weeks recently and then eventually gets fixed without me making any changes. And this is the only site where I run into these problems. Today it's unusable, instead of basically showing just text links.

I'm glad you said this, because I don't have problems with any other site either. At least I'm not the only one with these issues. Makes me wonder how many others are experiencing the same thing?
Hopefully, someone smarter than us will come along soon and offer a solution.

Try style id "140" using the following link:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/index.php?styleid=140
The style id, apparently, changed.

Mine just started acting up like the last few days.
Always worked fine via mobile (android) and either Firefox, Opera, or stock brower.
Hope this gets worked out sooner then later. Thanks!

My mistake on the style id as I looked up the incorrect one since there are two in the system. It's actually "140" and I edited my post.
Despite that, there is another problem preventing it from working and so I need to look further into it.
So to recap, yes there is an issue at this time and so no it's not working.

Just loaded the app as Snorman suggested. So far so good...cuz now I can't even view the desktop version on my phone. In looking at other unrelated threads, more folks are having the same issue.
Oh well, **** happens.

Same issue here. Funny enough it happened when I got my iPhone 6 with iOS8. I'm happy to hear that's not the cause.
I'm sure they'll fix it soon enough....I hope.
Best,
Gene

The Mobile App on the Apple store and the Mobile Theme are two completely different things and two different ways to access CorvetteForum. The Mobile App on the Apple store is a separate program that is installed on your device. You should be able to uninstall it if you don't like it.
The Mobile Theme uses your device's browser. The Mobile Theme is what is currently broken.

I never had a mobile theme on my phone. One day, it magically appeared and I loved it.
Then one day I accidentally deleted my internet settings or something, and now I'm back to the desktop view. I simply cannot find how to change system theme/skin settings for this forum and desperately need to do so, for my own sanity.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having problems. The last two days I haven't been able to access the forum via my iphone using either the mobile or desktop versions... I went through everything on my phone thinking I had a problem with it. Been KILLING me at work for 12hr shifts and not be able to play on the boards...
Hopefully the mods figure it out...

I can login w/ my blackberry, but its the full featured desktop version (which I've always used lol) but now that I know there is an awesome mobile version, its kind of a dick tease :\
