Default want to reply to post, as a 'subpost'

it appears that when I click 'reply' to a specific poster, whom I'd like to address directly, my reply goes to the bottom of the thread. Do I have to PM everybody I want to directly respond to?
Thx

your reply always goes to the bottom....although you can do as I did and quote their post so everyone knows who you are addressing

Posts in a thread are listed by date and time. The most common setting is newest posts are on the bottom with oldest posts on the top. This can be changed where newest posts are on the top and oldest on the bottom per account.

You can't insert your own post in between existing posts because they are sorted by date and time. So I could not insert this post in between yours and pewter99's when replying.

If you use the Reply button found inside the post you want to directly address, their message should appear as a quote so that it can be seen who and what you're replying to.
