In the modern age we have this wonderful thing called CSS.
This should be a simple customization of the interface. I don't care if the guys who own the site want to unify all their interfaces. Their unification is backwards and stupid.
Personally, I wish I had control of the interface to place things how I want them. This isn't hard to do either.
HTML5 + CSS use it.

CorvetteForum does use some CSS. However, vBulletin's interface and layout in vB 3.x goes back over a decade. I'm sure some sort of redesign is in the future but it doesn't happen overnight.
