After being a member for 4 years, are you just now noticing the sponsors ads in the threads on all forums, or are you seeing something new?

When I just opened this thread there was a advertisement on my initial post for "teach.org in a box about 2" X 2".
When I wend down to your response there was another advertisement in the same format, a 2" X 2" box.
They seem to be random as when I went back again they were gone.
I have not encountered these in the past.
Yes I am aware of sponsors advertisements and legitimate posts by sponsors.
Maybe this needs to be commented on by a moderator?

I, too have noticed the new, large ads intruding on the pages. The size bothers me less than the fact that now every post or page I click is noticeably slower to download. It's made reading my favorite forum a chore.

The above bolded statement is only seen by a moderator if he happens to read your post. We do not see every single post on the forum. If you would like assistance or input from a moderator, please hit the Report Post icon or send a moderator a PM rather than expecting them to see your comment. Thanks.
I will move this thread to the Help section as I am not sure what you are experiencing.

Is this occurring while signed in or viewing as a Guest?
If the latter, which another recent thread suggested, the ads inside posts are actually not new. Additionally, Guests will see more ads than those logged in.

Maybe instead of making the above post, you could either post your question in the Help section where they often are aware of the latest technical issues. Or, you could send a moderator a PM and ask.

No member in this thread noted any pop up ad. A pop up ad is an ad that overlays the content in a different window through no action by the member. CorvetteForum does not use pop up ads. Any pop up ads are either rogue ads or a member's system that is infected. Roll-over ads are used but are activated through a mouseover action.
We'd need to see a screen capture of the pop up ad and a click through link for the ad.

Corvette Forum may have gone down recently. I never log off, I just close my browser, but Friday or Saturday (I forgot which), I had to log in again.
Maybe that's why so many here are seeing ads that only guests see.

Steve,
I also noticed that I was not logged in although I always stay logged in.
So after logging in the advertisements stopped.
I hope the whether in FL is nice and warm since we have been waking up to near zero temps for the past week.
Are you going to the NCRS meet?
We are coming down for a few weeks.
Take care and say hi to Sin-de (spelling??)

Don't know if I'll be at Lakeland or not yet. Have to get some things taken care of, first.
SinDee is an extremely high energy dog. She goes to doggie day care where she plays non-stop with other dogs. Wears one dog out and moves on to the next one <LOL>.
Hope you are doing well.
