Attached images not showing
Any reason attached images in a thread aren't showing up? They are sitting there as links as if Im not logged into the site. I click them and they show up but normally they load automatically.

That is likely a browser cookie issue. In short, you may be missing the cookie that is used for attachment viewing permission/behavior.
You will need to delete all CorvetteForum cookies. Please note that logging out does not clear all CorvetteForum cookies. Some browsers allow you to singly delete cookies while others require you delete them all - even for other websites. Note that using IE's built-in cookie delete function may not work if you have CorvetteForum bookmarked/favorite and the Preserve Favorites Website Data is checked.
After clearing all CorvetteForum cookies, revisit the website, make sure to use the Remember Me option and log in.

That didn't fix it. It's happening on my iPad and my PC. Not likely to be corrupted cookies on both devices independently.
This is where I noticed it

This is a different issue than what I thought until you provided an example as there was an issue with cookies for attachment viewing permissions.
We will investigate this issue.
Thank-you.

Only having thumbnails or links makes it much harder to view content. Is there any plan to go back to displaying the images instead of links/thumbnails (I hope).

I am having the exact same issue. Started a few days ago.
Here is a link to one example.
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...t-project.html
You can see the thread was started many months ago and, up until a few days ago, all of the pics that I had attached to my posts showed as full size pics. Now they are thumbnails. Why? And more importantly, how to fix?
This seems to affect some, but clearly not all, users.
Also, it affects any new posts. I have attached a pic here to demonstrate...

OK...go ahead and make a liar out of me...
The pic I just posted is normal size...but still shows in a box that says "attached thumbnails" which it never used to do...

OK - I give up. Yesterday, new pics on new threads were showing up as small thumbnails like in the Grand Sport thread linked above. Still don't know why the pics in those older threads changed or why the "attached thumbnails" box now appears...

It will take some time, due to amount of attachments over the past decade, for the system to rebuild the "thumbnails" for the attachments made with the legacy attachment option. However, every new post using the legacy attachment going forward has the updated settings. I quote "thumbnails" because they aren't actually thumbnails.
The system has always placed attachments made from the legacy attachment option in the "Attachment Thumbnail" section - even though CorvetteForum was not using "thumbnails".
