Default Lifetime Member Problem

Received the following PM today:

Hello Force-1,

Thank you for becoming a Supporting Member. As you may know your membership comes with a pair of CorvetteForum Supporting Member stickers! If you could please fill out the form, by clicking the link below we'll be sure to have them mailed out.

CorvetteForum Membership Information

Thank you and see you on the forums!

Problem - I upgraded to Lifetime Silver back in Jan 15. Sent a check, received confirmation via PM, and my "Stars" were change to Lifetime Member.

After receiving above PM I noticed my Stars have changed back to Supporting Member. I should also be receiving a travel mug in addition to the stickers.

The above PM does not allow me to reply to it. I did fill out and submit the requested form.

Your account shows two memberships still active:
Lifetime Supporting Member and Supporting Member. Sometimes, in certain conditions, when two memberships are on the account one might override the other despite both are active. This was the case. I manually changed your account to use the Lifetime Supporting membership.

You might want to check your billing because it shows the Supporting Membership renewed on 02-28-2015 and this had contributed to the above issue. When you subscribe using PayPal, PayPal may set the subscription to automatically reoccur. Did you get double-billed since you probably no longer need to renew the Supporting membership?

I just checked my credit card account, and it shows:

28 FEB PAYPAL *CORVETTEFOR4029357733CA $25.00

How do I get the $25 refunded, since I upgraded to Lifetime Member the month prior?

I will have someone contact you about that. May not hear back until Monday. You might want to log into your PayPal account and delete the automatic occurring subscription so that it doesn't happen again next year.

Not sure how to proceed. Don't have a PayPal account, never did. My MasterCard was auto billed each year for membership, and I can't find a way on CF to stop that. The $25 message above is from my latest MasterCard statement, not PayPal.

Looks like you contacted Support via email for an account issue regarding changing email addresses and account functionality that caused the error. I've corrected it.

Still no fix to this issue, even though I have responded via PM.
