I deleted the app for the last time (didn't bother to reinstall) about 3 weeks ago. Once in awhile I go to the mobile website on my phone, but the interface is slow and clunky, so basically I don't go to CF anymore unless I am on a computer. Bummer.

The team is still working on the beta app.

Right now, if you're an android user, I think you can download the beta app and use it yourself. Search for Garage Talk by Internet Brands in Google Play store.

Which one did you download - Android? Don't think the IPHONE beta app is out yet..

Yes, the Android app. I've played with it a little bit today, seems to work fine.

The UI is a bit different, but easy enough to use. One neat feature is the icon on your phone has a little counter that shows how many threads that you have subscribed to have had another post since you last visited it.

There is a beta version for the iphone but Apple doesn't really allow a beta product into the app store. Instead, there are a few hundred participating in a "closed" program.

A few days ago I posted the following in this thread:

That is the newest information and isn't likely to change much more at this point.

1) A beta version for Android users is available via the link I provided in the post linked above. That will be the new app going forward. The old app you've been using can be uninstalled.

2) Apple users have a little longer wait as Apple handles beta programs different. There are roughly a few hundred in "closed testing" for the Apple app.

Last I know is the Apple app was submitted to Apple over 2 weeks ago and still is waiting on Apple. Apparently, there is an increase in queue due to new watch and apps.

Not good because it was rejected for a 2nd time for a different issue. It had been resubmitted again after making the required change.
