Can;t PLONK Detroit Steel???
Sorry Detroit Steel is a moderator/admin and you are not allowed to ignore him or her.
IF WE ARE ALREADY ON THE FORUM THEN WE DON'T NEED CONSTANT ADS TO TELL US TO JOIN THE FORUM!!!

Are you talking about posts, PMs or emails? I checked the posts made by Detroit Steel going back to April 1 and did not find any asking people to "JOIN THE FORUM." I don't have access to PMs or emails sent by others.

OK, I was having a bad morning.
Unlike a lot of people on this forum, I tend to read every post in a thread before adding my comments. There are, of course, a few people who never have anything interesting to say and/or are just idiots that tend to raise my blood pressure. There are not a lot of them. I currently have 14 on my plonk list and half of those could be deleted in my next review for no longer being active. Detroit Steel past my threshold with his latest ad https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1589854224 which added nothing, IMHO, to the conversation. So I pulled the trigger to plonk him and discovered that I can't because he has the same privilege as you would in that respect.
I can ignore forum vendors who actually pay the bills but I can't ignore a pushy IB salesman who never seems to contribute anything useful? A salesman should not be on the "do not ignore" list.
OK, rant over. Feel free to delete everything I've said and plonk me, if you wish.

I don't have anybody on my "plonk list," because I don't want to miss anything.
As to the post you referenced by Detroit Steel, it seemed to me it contributed to the discussion.
I've already shared your concerns with the folks at IB, as I do anytime I see complaints, questions or suggestions about something they have been involved in.

You don't want to miss anything but you have a different responsibility to the forum than I do. My responsibility is to not waste my time and to help others more than I have been helped.
Thank you for passing on the complaint. If I am the only one then it will at least have been heard before being properly ignored. If I'm not the only one... Maybe one day IB will learn that the CorvetteForum culture is going to be different from the F150Online culture. Hey, at least the email spam has slowed.
