No, there is no known issue with the mailing system. Certain providers block, filter or delay our emails but your provider, Gmail, is not one of those.
I would suggest you log into the web-based client and check your Spam folder. The contents of those folders are generally not downloaded to a pop-based email client.
Additionally, I would check Google's filters to make sure it's not moving the emails to another folder.
